Do you ever take on others’ advice before investing?

I am not talking about just bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general but any decision you make in your life ever took anybody else’s advice…I know this is a cryptocurrency-related blog but, that doesn’t mean we can’t talk about anything else. Come on I am your friend. *wink*. You can tell me.

Okay, let’s talk about crypto then, taking anyone’s advice on your investment-related decisions is not a great habit. Obviously, it works out sometimes but, that’s pure luck or the other guy’s knowledge, never yours.

I am sure if you have taken anyone’s advice to form an opinion on some investment ideas and then it turned out to be wrong, you go and blame the advice guy, right?
But, did it help? No, it was your money that you invested, it will be you who will see the gains and especially you to see the losses.
In the same way, never treat my words or blogs as investment advice, I am just here to spread the word out there about cryptos so, that people who are living under a rock get aware and takes their own decisions on investing.

Obviously, I am not doubting your financial advisor’s knowledge but, there is a reason he is called the financial “advisor”, not the decision-maker. Do your diligence and always, always research the investments not only cryptocurrencies but stocks, mutual funds, and even the safest of the safest Fixed deposits. Every bank provides its rate of interest on fixed deposits too.
So, all of a sudden why I am talking about this, it is because of the reason that people take my word as advice and base their decisions on it. Take the example of the bitcoin crash, people tend to point fingers at certain blogs and blame certain people for controlling the market and also manipulating decisions.

We are no one to do that and are no one to manipulate your decisions. When the bitcoins dropped, my portfolio was in red too, but I did not do panic selling because it was always my decision to get into the crypto space, not anyone else’s and I believe in this technology.
Let’s talk about one such very famous guy who if had listened to others’ advice couldn’t have been this rich now. I am talking about one of the men from “Two a half men” Ashton Kutcher.

Let’s talk about his bitcoin investment and other investment including his acting career and the network.

Introduction

Ashton Kutcher needs no introduction, still for the sake of it.
Ashton Kutcher was born in January 1978 in Lowa, United States, and is a model, actor and entrepreneur turned venture investor.
Kutcher is mainly known for his acting career and also his investments in hugely popular startups which turned out to be a huge success.
He went for his education in Biochemical Engineering from Lowa University but eventually dropped out before completing it and went after his modeling career starring in his first film in the 1999 romantic comedy film namely “Coming soon”. No, the name of the movie was coming soon and yes it did.

Followed by “Dude, where’s my car?”…Odd choices! What else to say?
From then on he became a romantic comedy kind of face and starred in other hit movies like Just married and the butterfly effect.
Some of the most prominent roles which made his transition from an actor to a star are sitcoms like “Two and a half men” and his portrayal of Steve Jobs in a biographical movie named “Jobs”
Kutcher also co-founded A-grade investments which is a venture investment firm and later started Sound ventures which was another investment firm.
Now, here is where things get interesting…let’s talk about his investments.
Kutcher invested in more than 80 startups and some of them are Spotify, Airbnb, Uber, Skype, and bitcoins.
As if he knew what the future would look like now.
Apparently, Mila Kunis (his spouse) was against Uber and his bitcoin investments and advised against the ideas and told him that it is a horrible idea to fund Uber and “If the bitcoins are decentralized then who will guarantee those are safe” ohh, Mila.
But, Ashton Kutcher made his own decisions and was not only interested in those ideas but, he ignored the noise and invested in the underlying cryptocurrency and Uber, which in turn became huge over time.
because he believed in them so, he did not listen to anyone’s advice, in this case not even her spouse’s advice, and went all in which made him one of the richest actors in the whole of Hollywood.
Kutcher also invested in Ripple in his other cryptocurrency investments and the latest one being Lolli which is a bitcoin rewards company.

Networth

The current net worth of Ashton Kutcher lies somewhere between 200 to 300 million US dollars and he is one of the richest actors in Hollywood now living with his spouse Mila Kunis in a huge farmhouse he recently bought in Los Angeles.
All thanks to his decision-making and bitcoins and of course the star investments he funded with his capitalist mindset.
So, please do your due diligence and spend some time researching the coin you are investing in and why is it being produced, and the use cases. Most of the time the coins are just not currency and must have some useful purpose. Ask yourself, do you think it’s gonna work out? then invest.
Also don’t invest what you can’t afford to lose, cryptocurrency is highly volatile in nature.
